With over 15 years professional experience, Kim Burman founded Speech and Cognitive Solutions, LLC to bring concierge speech language pathology services to her Florida community and beyond.  Kim has worked with pediatric and adult populations in many settings including acute hospitals, rehab hospitals, schools, private practice, and home health.  She has been a guest speaker providing professional presentations and training for nursing staff, stroke survivor support groups, Parkinson's Disease support groups, and academic organizations. 

 

Kim holds a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and a Bachelor's Degree in French and International Relations.  She has completed extensive additional education specific to working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum.  Kim's experiences as a mother and a former elementary/middle school teacher and coach help her relate to families and provide the very best individualized service.  She is currently licensed by the Florida Department of Health and nationally certified with the American Speech and Hearing Association.
